Real-time display of CAN bus messages

CANinterpreter is a versatile monitoring tool for monitoring and recording data traffic and for analysing CAN networks. All messages transmitted over the CAN bus are displayed in real time and can be presented in various modes and views. The optional data traffic recording feature allows for subsequent offline analysis, which is particularly useful for detecting sporadic faults . Individual CAN messages or message sequences can also be transmitted to the network, for example to simulate nodes that do not yet exist during the commissioning phase of a system. The CANinterpreter functionality is already integrated into the standard version of the CANopen DeviceExplorer.

CANopen Interpreter
interprets CANopen messages according to their meaning. The data content is converted into a readable plain text format and therefore greatly simplifies the diagnosis of CANopen networks.

CANinterpreter Script plug-in
The script extension is based on Javascript, which has been expanded to include CANopen-specific commands, for example for sending and receiving SDOs, PDOs and NMT messages. A graphical UI designer can be used to create your own user interfaces so that user-specific test and control applications can be realized on the basis of the script language.
