The USB-CANmodul1 is a reliable and robust interface solution for connecting CAN networks to Windows and Linux devices such as PCs, laptops and embedded controllers. Thanks to the transparent tunnelling of CAN messages, the module can be used with CAN-based high-layer protocols such as CANopen, SDS, DeviceNet or J1939 .
A high- 32-bit CPU core with an integrated message buffer enables reliable communication even under high bus load and provides precise timestamps for the received CAN messages.
The PC driver allows for simple plug-&play installation and supports the simultaneous operation of up to 64 CAN channels on a single host. Via virtual networks, the driver enables the USB-CAN module to be used simultaneously by different applications.
Thanks to its attractive price-performance ratio and its reliable compact design, the USB-CAN module is ideally suited for CAN bus-based developments, service and maintenance tasks in CAN bus systems, as well as for use in mass-produced products. The included CAN monitoring software rounds off the package.

Our USB-CAN module 1 is now also available with an optional USB-C port –&, the USB-CAN module 1 C.
This upgrade offers you even greater flexibility and future-proofing when integrating your CAN bus systems, as well as broad compatibility with modern devices.
Our USB-CAN module will, of course, continue to be available in the classic version with a USB-B Mini 5 connector. Both variants offer the reliability and functionality you have come to expect from our products.
The USB-CANmodul1 and the USB-CANmodul1 C are also available as open-frame versions. Direct integration into application-specific hardware as a design-in is possible on request.
