The netFIELD Eval Board from SYS TEC electronic provides a cost-effective, practical introduction to modern IoT technologies. Based on Hilscher's netFIELD device management system, it also offers a wide range of functions, such as
- Device management,
- secure operation and integration into your production environment,
- optional remote access,
- A wide range of ready-to-use applications from various providers (free of charge or for a fee)
Or test your own application directly on the device - ideal for developing and optimizing individual solutions.
Industrial connectivity par excellence
The board has numerous interfaces, including
- two independent Ethernet ports: one for the process level (e.g. MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus/TCP, EtherCAT), the other for connection to IT or the cloud
- USB ports and configurable GPIOs for integrating additional peripherals
- Optional eMMC memory as a more robust alternative to the micro SD card
This makes the netFIELD Eval Board a future-proof IIoT platform for your automation projects.
A strong team: SYS TEC & Hilscher
SYS TEC electronic (Vogtland) and Hilscher (Hattersheim) have been working together on hardware solutions with netX technology since November 2023. With the netFIELD Eval Board, we are expanding this collaboration to the Industrial IoT sector.
By porting the netFIELD OS to SYS TEC hardware, machine builders and manufacturing companies have a flexible and secure platform for applications such as

The netFIELD solution is offered as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and hosted by Hilscher in Germany. Operation in your private cloud is just as possible as an on-premise version, which you can operate yourself in your own IT landscape. You can choose between five variants:
