The sysWORXX SRN-300 is a radio development component for the connection of sensors and actuators to wirepas mesh networks, which scores with a battery life of up to 3 years. The abbreviation "SRN" stands for Short Range Radio Node. The radio interface is a consistent further development of the meshnet technology towards industrial applications.

Standard sensors with standard interfaces such as voltage interfaces from 0...10V, 4-20mA, etc. can be connected directly to the node. Thus, any physical measured variables of a machine can be coupled to the node and sent to a gateway. You do not have to rely on sensors that can only transmit certain variables, but can use the node in a variety of ways with the help of the industrial interfaces.

Transmit & control in battery & mains operation

In addition to the transmit function, the sysWORXX SRN-300 also contains a control function. Based on digital outputs via bistable relays, states can be stored and actuators can be controlled. Depending on its use as a mobile node or as an anchor node in a network, the node can be operated in parallel both via battery and via a 24V connection. For quick configuration of the device and for querying statuses, operating data can be read out via the NFC interface.
