Business succession and change of legal form at SYS TEC electronic
The electronics service provider SYS TEC electronic was converted into a public limited company with effect from 15 January 2019. The company’s founder, principal owner and long-standing managing director, Dipl.-Phys. Siegmar Schmidt, is moving to the Supervisory Board as its Chairman. The co-owners, Dipl.-Ing. Ronald Sieber (previously Technical Director) and Dipl.-Ing. Dirk Bause (previously Head of Technology), will take over the management board.
For 29 years now, the name SYS TEC electronic has stood for high-quality electronics services from the Vogtland region. The founder, shareholder and long-standing managing director, Dipl.-Phys. Siegmar Schmidt, has built the limited liability company (GmbH) into a strong, medium-sized enterprise over the course of almost three decades. With 130 employees and a turnover of 17.5 million euros in 2018, the company has grown significantly, particularly over the last three years.
Chairman of the Board, Dipl.-Ing. Ronald Sieber, said: “The change in legal form opens up new opportunities for growth and investment.”
“Our main task is to adapt our internal structures to this growth and consolidate them,” adds board member Dipl.-Ing. Dirk Bause.
The new Executive Board remains committed to the company’s highly successful strategic direction of recent years: development services and production continue to be united under one roof. SYS TEC electronic will continue to work alongside its customers to design and successfully implement the entire product life cycle, from the requirements specification phase through to series production.
Furthermore, the company’s strategy is being continuously expanded. The aim is to tap into further sales markets. In future, we will market solutions in the Internet of Things (IoT) sector and our own sysWORXX-branded products even more vigorously, in order to strengthen the company’s other pillars of business alongside the services sector. In doing so, SYS TEC electronic draws on the experience it has gained over the past decades. “SYS TEC electronic has been working with technologies that now form the basis for the IoT for over 10 years. We use this knowledge to bring well-thought-out, high-quality solutions to market,” says Ronald Sieber.
