In view of the current political situation, which is having a tangible economic impact and where many far-reaching consequences cannot yet be foreseen, we wish to communicate openly and transparently with our customers and business partners.
The current situation calls for honest communication.
As you know, SYS TEC electronic AG manufactures exclusively in Germany. We source the components required for production almost exclusively from German suppliers and business partners. Although we are not directly affected, we are nevertheless noticing various effects of the conflict in Ukraine. The shortage of transport capacity and the associated higher transport costs, the rise in freight costs due to the passing on of sharply rising fuel prices, and the increasing energy costs – including in our own production – present enormous economic challenges for manufacturers, suppliers and ourselves.
We continue to be directly affected by the extremely tight component supply situation and the lack of transparency in the semiconductor manufacturers’ supply chains. We are unable to assess the actual significance of Russia and Ukraine as suppliers of raw materials for semiconductor manufacturing.
We will inform you as soon as any change in the market situation becomes apparent.
