Innovation through research
Never stand still; conduct research; embrace innovation; move forward. Only those who conduct research can discover new business opportunities and thus promote innovation and growth. The Stifterverband has now also recognised SYS TEC electronic AG for its activities in the field of R&D – awarding it the ‘Innovative through Research’ seal of approval.
For the Executive Board of SYS TEC electronic AG, this honour is something special. “This seal of approval visibly demonstrates our R&D achievements and expertise, particularly in the fields of IoT and Industry 4.0,” says Dirk Bause, a member of the Executive Board. “Furthermore, it raises the profile of our efforts in the field of new technologies and their implementation in industry.”
Since 2014, the Stifterverband has been recognising research-based companies for the special responsibility they assume towards the state and society with the ‘Innovative through Research’ seal. Of the 3.5 million companies in Germany, less than one per cent conduct research – an extremely significant group.
The Stifterverband is one of the largest private funders of science in Germany. Alongside its commitment to early-career academics, excellent universities and cutting-edge research, it is also tasked by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research with examining and evaluating the German research and innovation system.
