Saxony visits Plauen
Saxony is determined to become – and is capable of becoming – a leading business location in Germany. In the digital economy, many markets are being redistributed. This presents opportunities, provided the right decisions are made now. That is the conclusion of the IT Summit 2022.
For the first time, the Saxony IT Summit took place in south-west Saxony. On 27 June 2022, the four IT clusters hosted the event in Plauen. Under the theme ‘Smart Business – Smart Country’: “How can Saxony become one of the world’s leading locations?”, many companies engaged in discussion. Guests included Thomas Kralinski, Yvonne Magwas, Frauke Greven, Siemens Chemnitz, the Hasso Plattner Institute and numerous industrial companies from the region.
We had the opportunity to take part with a presentation on the topic: “A day in the life of an electronics service provider: from idea to smart product” and engaged in conversation with many entrepreneurs. It was a high-calibre professional exchange with an eye to the future.
