SYS TEC electronic AG celebrates its company anniversary
30 years of bespoke electronics development, driven by a passion for complex challenges, for development and programming, for soldering irons and interfaces. SYS TEC electronic AG is now celebrating its 30th anniversary. The company was founded in 1990 with three employees in Greiz, in the Vogtland region.
Following its foundation on 19 June 1990, the small team led by Siegmar Schmidt initially worked in Thuringia. Due to the ever-increasing number of orders, the owner-managed company continued to grow and specialised as a provider of distributed automation and embedded systems. Another milestone was the opening of its own production facility in Heinsdorfergrund in 2006.
Further growth and increasingly scarce resources, particularly within development and production, led to the construction of a new, state-of-the-art main building at the headquarters in Heinsdorfergrund six years later. What has always defined SYS TEC electronic is its close-knit team and its passion for electronics and challenging tasks.
Since 2019, Ronald Sieber and Dirk Bause have been at the helm of the development service provider, which currently employs 95 staff. The approach is not to stand still, but to think innovatively and thus move forward successfully.
The challenges have become more diverse and, amongst other things, digitalisation is also offering SYS TEC electronic new opportunities to showcase its expertise in the areas of development and prototyping, hardware and software design, right through to the production of small and medium-sized batches.
