  • Presentation of the CANopen tools for bus analysis and configuration
  • Analysis of CAN communication (layer 7)
  • Parameterization of CANopen networks
  • Querying the node status / setting the account status
  • Configuration of nodes using EDS files
  • Graphical linking of CANopen nodes
  • Creation of DCF files
  • Download of node parameters to CANopen devices
  • Simulation of a CANopen device

LSS stands for Layer-Setting-Service and describes the automatic assignment of node numbers in a CANopen network. Each node needs a unique node number and all nodes must use the same bit rate. The system integrator must ensure that these requirements are met before commissioning the network. CANopen solves this problem with LSS. Our team explains concepts and the integration of LSS.

Contents:

  • Explanation of different concepts
  • Integration of LSS

duration:

  • 1 hour

Webtool:

  • Skype, zoom or similar

costs:

  • 149,00€

CAN (Controller Area Network) refers to a serial communication technology that is used in particular for reliable data exchange between electronic control units.

Basics Coaching

How does CAN work and what types of messages are there? How is the network able to gain access to the bus and how is error handling in the CAN protocol done? Answers to all these questions and even more relevant information about CAN can be found in our crisp CAN Coaching.

Content:

  • Basics CAN and basic applications

Duration:

  • 4 hours

The sysWORXX CTR-700 is our in-house developed, versatile and exclusively adaptable control system, which is used for topics such as continuous monitoring of machine systems, predictive maintenance and climate data monitoring. In the field of IIoT the sysWORXX CTR-700 offers the possibility of networking machines and systems, collecting, processing and evaluating selected data and thus optimising processes, i.e. making "old machines" fit and readable.

Programming languages on the sysWORXX CTR-700

In addition to IEC 61131-3, our IoT gateway solution sysWORXX CTR-700 can be programmed in other languages, which means that no cost-intensive external services are required for programming. The coaching teaches the use of programming languages such as Python, Node.JS, Java, C# or Rust.

Content:

  • Use of the different programming languages

Duration:

  • 2 hours

Webtool:

  • Skype, zoom or similar

costs:

  • 299,00€

We will show you the basics of Node- RED programming for our Edge Controller, the sysWORXX CTR-700. concepts, data communication via MQTT as well as backup and restore of certain flows round off this half-day offer.

Message Queue Telemetry Transport, MQTT for short, has become the standard for IoT or M2M communication of devices and applications. The open network protocol provides a reliable, secure and high-performance communication of own applications with other devices, cloud backend services or mobile apps.

Basic concept services

The use of MQTT for integration in distributed applications requires concepts and infrastructural prerequisites. The coaching covers these topics as well as the question of different application possibilities.

Contents: 1. basics MQTT - 2. concept presentation and explanation - 3. prerequisites infrastructure - 4. applications: Use for interprocess communication, use of MQTT within different programming languages such as Python, Node.js and IEC11313 - 5. integration of sensor data via Wirepas
