The right tools and accessories can make a substantial contribution
to time savings right at testing and commissioning. The IO-Box was
conceived precisely for this purpose. Even before a control is
integrated in the system, the IO box makes possible simulation of
inputs and outputs without putting any efforts in handicrafts.
Therefore the IO-Box features eight digital and two analog inputs
and outputs. In order to cover a broad spectrum of application, the I/O
box comes in three versions. We offer a version for industry standard
signals, one for CANopen and one with USB connection.
The basic IO-Box makes possible direct wiring of the inputs and
outputs via spring-type connectors. The CANopen IO-Box is a
ready-to-use DS 401 compliant CANopen I/O device. The inputs and
outputs of the IO-Box can be accessed via CANopen network variables.
Accordingly, the CANopen IO-Box is ideal for performing CANopen
communications tests. The USB IO-Box can be connected directly to the
PC and co-operates with the OpenPCS offline simulator. Here, the
process structure is represented on the IO-Box and vice versa.
