CANopen µChip

The SYS TEC CANopen µChip provides full CANopen functionality of a DS 401 compliant device on a single-chip microcontroller solution. It comes ready-to-use, pre-programmed with the latest CANopen firmware.

Its enormous flexibility makes the CANopen µChip best suitable for a broad range of deeply embedded OEM applications. Seven I/O configurations provide a variation of digital inputs and outputs, analog inputs as well as PWM outputs.

Using the CANopen µChip jump-starts your development cycle. By sparing yourself the task of developing your own CANopen firmware, you can instead concentrate on your target peripherals, thereby reducing the time-to-market of your product. No orientation into the CANopen protocol internal workings is necessary.

  • storage of configuration data on Non-volatile memory (provided by customer)
  • predefined pins for easy configuration of node ID, baud rate and IO configuration (e.g. by a DIP-switch)
  • all digital IO's on TTL level
  • analog inputs 10-bit resolution, 0..5V
  • IO configuration selectable via port-pins and OD entry
