CANopen Source Code
Using SYS TEC’s CANopen Source Code you have all the functions and CANopen services necessary for implementing CANopen devices based on CANopen specification DS 301. In addition, our CANopen source includes all functionalities and services for implementing CANopen master devices such as NMT master (network management) and LSS master (layer setting services). The consistent structuring of functionality in modules, an event-based API and the instancing capabilities are additional performance features. The set of example programs for many different target platforms facilitate your start. A very complex and versatile CANopen implementation is at your disposal with SYS TEC’s CANopen software. An advantage for you: technical support and software maintenance is included for the first year free of charge!

CANopen Configuration Suite
The comprehensive CANopen Configuration and Management Tool With the CANopen Configuration Suite we offer you a high-performance and easy-to-use tool for project planning and configuration of CANopen networks. CANopen Configuration Suite combines functionality with intuitive operation. In addition to configuration and interconnection of pure CANopen slave devices, CANopen Configuration Suite also supports DS 405 compliant programmable devices. Defined network variables are exported as an IEC 61131-3 conformant variable declaration. The variables can be transferred easily into your programming system by copy and paste. Modularity and expandability are particular features of the CANopen Configuration Suite. The built-in script capability makes easy flexible adaptation of the configuration interface and addition of new functionality.

CANopen OD-Builder - Dialog-based OD design and EDS editor Tool
Using the OD-Builder, you can create and edit the CANopen Object Directory and EDS files for any type of CANopen devices. The intuitive interface makes it possible to work effectively. When doing this, the OD-Builder ensures that consistency and conformity of the EDS complies with DS 301. A highlight the capability of exporting the object directory as C-source. This can be incorporated directly into our CANopen source code. Thus you have the assurance that the object directory and the EDS are in consitancy with each other. CANopen API for Windows The CANopen API for Windows encapsulates full CANopen functionality in a ready-to-use library. The user accesses CANopen functions without having to understand the internal workings of the CANopen stack. You can concentrate entirely on developing your application. The CANopen API simplifies the CANopen connection substantially. Thus, for example, all services are at your fingertips for implementing your own CANopen master.

Subjects, contents and length of the workshops are individually matched to your prior experience and your objectives. The workshops include the introduction to the philosophy of CANopen, training on a demo-application and your own practical hands-on using CANopen components and tools. In preliminary consultations, each workshop is structured so that you have the optimum introduction into your application. In an adaptation workshop, we support porting of CANopen software to your target hardware. You train in the SYS TEC’s CANopen stack application and become familiar with the code. The wide ranging know-how of our development engineers guarantees effective work, even under demanding starting conditions. On request, we can carry through the adaptations at your facilities.
